A day tour to the Chianti Classico wine region just south of Florence with a stop in the town of Greve is a lovely way to see the Tuscan region.

Day 9-10: Venice

Venice will be on your list to ensure you can enjoy a gondola ride through the famous canals! A walking guided tour to visit Doge’s Palace with a typical cicchetti bar is the way to experience this beautiful Italian city. Don’t forget to take the water taxi to the airport as this will be a memorable way to complete your Italian adventure.

Family Celebration in Greece

Day 1-3: Athens

Athens has been rated one of the top food cities so it's definitely worth a visit! A trip to Greece is not complete without a guided tour to the Parthenon and the important city sights along the way including a stop at the fabulous Acropolis Museum. These are show-stoppers and will be sure to offer a fabulous view of Athens along with a lesson in ancient Greek history. There is a lovely restaurant on the rooftop of the museum to enjoy lunch when you tour is completed. If you enjoy cooking classes, I will sign you up for a hands-on Greek cooking class with dinner and a view of the Acropolis. I will recommend four and five star boutique hotels in central Athens that offer lovely breakfast, excellent service, and even some with rooftop pools! A day visit with a guided tour to the home of the Temple of Apollo is Delphi is a nice addition to your stay in the Athens area.

A short boat ride from Santorini and you will arrive in largest island in Greece, Crete. Crete is a wonderful island filled with Cretan cuisine, olive oil and wine to make up the Cretan diet which is sure to please. Crete has many activities for the whole family and the resorts offer a wide range of activities including waterskiing, swimming, yoga, boating and local visits to make ceramics at a local art studio, olive oil tasting, and even golfing and snorkeling to keep everyone entertained. Travel to the south coast either with a private tour or by boat to experience the amazing beaches of the south. The Samaria Gorge offers a wonderful hike for those of your interested.
